PLEASE NOTE: This posting is required for Federal Contractors and is not the Novemeber 14th expected NLRA Notice required for nearly all private sector employers. Federal contractors already posting this notice will be regarded as complying with the National Labor Relation Board's notice posting rule.

POSTING REQUIREMENTS:

Physical and Electronic Posting
Contractors and subcontractors must post the employee notice conspicuously in and around their plants and offices so that it is prominent and readily seen by employees. In particular, contractors and subcontractors must post the notice where other notices to employees about their jobs are posted.

Acquiring Translated Posters
Where a significant portion of a contractor's or subcontractor's workforce is not proficient in English, they must provide the employee notice in languages spoken by employees. OLMS will provide translations of the employee notice that can be used to comply with the physical and electronic posting requirements.

Who must post this poster?
Beginning June 19, 2010 Federal contractors and their subcontractors are required to post the notice titled Employee Rights Under The National Relations Act (NLRA). Federal contractors need to post the required employee notice and also insert provisions in their subcontracts that require their subcontractors to post the employee notice as well. The notice informs employees about their rights under the NLRA to form, join, and assist a union, and to bargain collectively with their employer.
